PRESS KIT: The Zen Executive: Gems of Wisdom for Enlightened Leadership
The Zen Executive is a pithy, portable book with common-sense ideas for aligning business practices with ancient spiritual principles—from a voice of experience.
Author and CEO, Jim Blake, utilizes his decades of experience both in corporate America and now as the leader of a global spiritual non-profit, to help business leaders incorporate spiritual-but-not-religious teachings into their leadership style. Likewise, spiritual leaders will learn that taking a businesslike approach to their work does not leave out compassion, love, and service.
Blake advocates meditation, forgiveness, and self-care as key elements of a leader’s performance, along with understanding the true calling of an organization, establishing a culture of trust, and handling inevitable changes and setbacks without resistance.
“As I studied world religions and ancient teachings from around the globe, I began to see how easily their beauty and truth could be incorporated in—even function in alignment with—best business practices.” – Jim Blake
Leaders looking to inspire, motivate, and stay positive about the future will benefit from Blakes lessons on inner work to nurture a deep understanding of why and how an organization makes a difference. His wisdom for using spiritual principles to boost innovation and creativity in any endeavor.
